About the Role

Oakman PT is seeking a motivated and compassionate Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our team. The ideal candidate is dedicated to providing high-quality patient care, supporting rehabilitation programs, and empowering patients through education and encouragement.

You will work closely with our clinic director, Ali Sobh, and the Oakman PT team to deliver individualized treatment plans that help patients recover from injuries, restore mobility, and prevent future health issues.

Responsibilities

  • Assist licensed physical therapists in providing patient care
  • Carry out treatment plans including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and other interventions
  • Educate patients on proper techniques and preventative care strategies
  • Track and document patient progress
  • Maintain a positive and supportive clinic environment

     

Qualifications

  • Current Michigan Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license

     

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to patient-first care and education
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team
  • Passion for health, fitness, and community care
